Bad news everyone,
my laptop has a virus again and that means that I have to reschedule my contest. Don't worry. Next week, will be a repeat episode. See everyone here in two weeks!
I think it is a good idea to put literature in graphic novel and anime form because it will help young minds out learn about the classic that the previous generations read back, like “Robinson Crusoe” and “Hamlet”, in their times in high school and in college. When reading the graphic novel and watching the anime version adaptations of the classics, the young minds can see what the artist’s take on the original version like. Disney did a science fiction version of “Treasure Island”, which got an Oscar nomination, and I think it would be nice to see a steam punk version of a Stephen King novel or short story or a futuristic version of Charles Dickens’ “A Christmas Carol.” There is an anime version of the literary masterpiece “the Count of Monte Cristo.” The creator of numerous Marvel characters, Stan Lee, had one of his concepts made into a graphic novel with in the past few years.
Classic films, TV shows and plays can get the same treatment as literature so younger generations can learn, respect and enjoy the works of Humphrey Bogart and William Shakespeare. Some movies, like “Ghostbusters”, had an American cartoon series without the original cast or a comic book based on them. Others, like Star Trek, had spinoffs and a cartoon series with the actual cast. Heck, Gilligan’s Island had a 1980s science fiction cartoon series based on the very same 1960s TV show with the cast. Maybe one day, “Bonanza” the classic western TV show might get a steam punk or a modernized cartoon version as a tribute or an entire Simpsons or Family Guy episode like what two Star Trek franchises had.
In 2004, a classic Japanese movie named “the Seven Samurai” was created a twenty six episode steam punk series and it added some characters and some plotlines that the classic movie did not have. Godzilla, the legendary movie monster who has a 29-12-10 record in 41 big screen appearances from the mid 1950s to 1999 (including the one movie which he destroyed most of New York City), had his share of anime series. Even two pro wrestlers, Tiger Mask and Jushin “Thunder” Liger, are based on actual anime series and Tiger Mask had numerous wresters perform underneath the mask, in which the current one (Tiger Mask IV) was trained by the original one.
In conclusion, if literature and classic movies or TV shows get turned into anime and graphic novels, young people will become the Steven Spielberg or Stan Lee of the next generation.
I am getting tired of all these religions cramming "their god" and "their believes" down my throat. It doesn't matter if it is Jesus Christ, Buddha, the Shinto kami Ahllah; they are all one being.
Here are some of my views:
Funeral: I go into the woods with a can of ale and walk up a mountian to its summit. As pour the beer out at the top of the summit, I say a small prayer followed by fifteen minutes of meditation
Sunday Services: I sit in my room and meditate and find the faults that I have to work on for the week.
Following the ten commandments: I do infact follow the ten commandments and see some true believers say that they "help" charities out with only two hours each week, while others do more than two hours.
Gods: I believe in Buddha and he is like Jesus Christ.
Atheists: They are your friendly scalpers outside of the Pearly Gates.
Alcohol: sometimes we have to over enduldge in the alcohl due to stress.

There are people out there saying their "god" is the right god. Buddha, Allah, Jesus Christ and so forth are the same guy. Before you try to say anything to convert anybody, remember their religion has different views (and commitment) and their god is also your god.
Stan Bush is back with his newest album, Dream The Dream, and this album has eleven new tracks and the second reincarnation of The Touch done by Stan himself. For almost an hour, you’ll hear Stan Bush sing about love, miracles, dreaming the dream and having “the Touch” (for the third time in twenty five years). Like its predecessor, In This Life, Dream the Dream can make you play the air guitar and tap your foot. Dream the Dream combines elements from Stan Bush’s early non-Transformers work in the 1980s and his mid-2000s album Shine.
Songs to listen to: I’m Still Here, Dream the Dream, Never Hold Back
Songs to Skip: The Touch (2009 Version)
Overall rating: 3.99/5
Language is a key to everything. Like a radio or TV station, you must keep you mouth clean and do clean content before a certain time. If you do it right in public, you won’t get in trouble, and if you continuously swear and do R-rated content in public, you’ll get put in jail or worse. In other words, you have to moderate what you do by not swearing or doing lewd content and show people that you care about what people say. Sure it is hard to do and it takes time to master it. Also, when people tell you not to swear in front of children just say okay and keep taking by using G-rated language until you are at home or in a bar with family or friends.
One thing that you use language is in your grammar and I am for English teachers in any grade to give students a verbal or writing Spelling Bee to see or hear if the students are paying attention to what’s written in newspapers, books, magazines and everything that was words on it. If some students can use grammar and punctuation correctly, they can be Oscar winners for best screenplay or New York bestselling Pulitzer Prize winner for non-fiction. With a right mindset, you can you can do it.
Learning a different language is pretty hard to do. It is a good idea to learn a different language and visit a country or a region that has the language you learned as an official language. It will be a life changing experience that you will tell your grandkids. If you went to Kenya for a vacation, for example, you have to teach yourself another language, or learn it, before going to another country.
This is a one off blog of my views on some stuff.
Getting Married: Save yourselves money by eloping to Vegas and it also counts as your honemoon.
New Age Religion: It is only the same religion but put in the mirowave for a couple minutes
CFL playoffs: I think that a league with eight teams should have each team in the playoffs because I don't want to see the divison leader to take on the winner of the third vs. second bracket.
Volunteerism: As a Radio Co-op member, over the past year only few people came out to help RRC out with events and three RRC members appeared in the Golden City Days parade when most of the members are still around relaxing and not showing their faces to the city to show who they are and if you were in the parade, it will be a good PR chance for your show.
Here is some new segments of my show in which you send to seanatonin@gmail.com
Ask Sean- I answer your questions on-air and it can be about me or what is on the news. This segment will be 100% SPORTS FREE
Sean's Mailbag- I will read your comments live on air at the end of each show. Keep the e-mail clean.
Put "Ask Sean" or "Sean's Mailbag" in the subject line.
Wow! Who would think that I have made it four years with Rossland Radio? I didn’t. It has been some ups and downs with Rossland Radio and personally. A few weeks after I started on-air with RRC, my dad died and since then, I tried my hand on being elected on the Legion executive (and failed miserably). Upside, I have been on the RRC board for my fourth term and I have fun doing my show, which you can hear on Saturdays at 8 pm (PST) on Rosslandradio.com or 101.1 FM on the dial.
In my four years, I created a MySpace and Twitter accounts for RRC, got a cult following halfway across the globe, interviewed Stan F’n Bush (maybe I can get an interview with him on my fifth year anniversary), ghot top billing ay a failed 80s dance (hope we can get another one and it will be more successful) and co-hosted two episodes of the DJ Anonymous show. Hell, I made new friends at Rossland Radio and maybe, I can interview some independent singers or bands from BC or Canada.
I started with a show called “The Chunin Show” and I tweaked it a little by calling “Chunin’s Corner.” Then I had a side project called “Tao of Sean” and fused it with “Chunin’s Corner” to become “Tao of Chunin.” In the year 2009, I dropped the moniker “The Charismatic Chunin of Cool” and changed my show name to “Sean-a-tonin.”
On Sean-a-tonin, I am gonna start having a portion of my show called “Sean’s Mailbag” in which you my listener can e-mail me a question, request a song (or singer/band) or a comment about a previous show. E-mail me at seanatonin@gmail.com and in the subject line, put “Sean’s Mailbag”. Also, once in a while on my show, I will do a Sean’s Mailbag episode.
Next year will be my fifth anniversary and maybe, my listeners and fellow DJs can celebrate with me live at the studio and have a good time listening to the best Saturday Night show before Saturday Night Live.
