Richard Daloise helped to start the Bear Aware program about ten years ago. He's seen many changes in the way the Province deals with bear conservation and has served as a director on the Provincial Bear Aware advisory committee. Robert Newell is a Masters student and has helped deliver the Bear Aware program for two years now. He has developed a board game and a CD for kids. Join me July 26th as I interview Simon Jackson, the founder of the Spirit Bear Youth Coalition. This is a conservation initiative with over 5 million supporters worldwide. A full length hollywood animated movie called "The Spirit Bear" will be released in the spring of 2008 and proceeds will be used to help the initiative to conserve a large area of land in BC's northwest.
