Ten songs that should not use the melodies of classic songs or remakes that should never been made

1) Ice Ice Baby by Vanilla Ice- If you listen to the melody very closely to that song, it’s the melody of the Queen & David Bowie classic Under Pressure. The melody should not be used outside of rock
2) S.O.S by Rihanna- In this pop travesty, Rihanna took a classic ’80s tune and made it into a horrendous song. Why in the bluest of blue hell did she make a song about the signal of distress?
3) All Summer Long by Kid Rock- Kid Rock slapped the faces of Lynyrd Skynyrd and Warren Zevon in this song. Sure he promoted Sweet Home Alabama in the song and that is the only great thing that this self-proclaimed American Bad Ass has done right in that song
4) Can’t Touch This by MC Hammer- Rick James is rolling in his grave now when this song is playing on the radio, during a sporting event or in a movie.
5) American Woman by Lenny Kravitz- Why in hell did Lenny destroy this classic hit that was done by BTO/Guess Who. Maybe in the year 2043, a reggae-punk band does a horrible version of one of his hits.
6) Any Michael Jackson hit song parody- sure they are funny, but you should think of what Michael Jackson has done for music
7) You Sexy Thing by Deee-Lite- A funk version of a disco classic, who would thunk it. Sure it looks good on paper, but it still sucks.
8) Anything sung by Countdown, Stars of Studio 99 or the cast of Glee- Do they know the phrase “royalty cheques” because they forgot that they will pay the singers a price to sing their songs.
9) A Fifth of Beethoven by Walter Murphy & Also Spracht Zarathrustra by Deodato- Classical Music gone disco? Why me?
10) The Transformers theme by Lion (and an alternate version done by Stan Bush)- Why did the producers of the Transformers animated movie (that will be hitting twenty five years soon) let an unknown band and a cult hero do their versions of the Transformers theme? The theme had been remixed numerous times over numerous seasons. Why not have the first two seasons fused together for the movie instead of having a rock version of it. Goddamnit!
