Do you remember what it was like to visit your favorite record store when you were a kid? You'd open the door to that familiar smell, the dust of history, and inside the world was yours. Inside was what seemed like a million and one records, from your favorite rock & roll, new and old, to the stuff that would get your folks up on the dance floor, and everything else in between.
That music store of your youth is now open, every Wednesday night from 8 till 10pm, right here on the RRC. It's called "Recordland", and John Kereiff is the proprietor. When he opens the door to invite you inside, there'll be a pot of coffee brewing, and a six pack of your favorite suds in the beer fridge in the corner, and some comfy chairs. So just put your feet up, relax, and let John take care of the music... everything from pop, jazz, folk and blues, to punk, funk and classic 70's metal... his first love.
